LitVM Integrates Espresso and VIA Labs as V2 Approaches
LitVM announced integrations with Espresso and VIA Labs for finality and native USDC, while teasing an upcoming V2 architecture.
Week of Built from 14 filings
LitVM expanded its infrastructure stack this week through new integrations with Espresso and VIA Labs aimed at transaction finality and cross-chain liquidity. The core team also previewed a "V2" iteration scheduled for detailed reveal next week, alongside the return of the Tesseract accelerator for developers on the LiteForge testnet.
Fast Finality and Cross-Chain USDC
On Wednesday, LitVM announced an integration with Espresso to provide sub-second transaction finality for the rollup. LitVM co-founder @circle_crypto stated that the team integrated Espresso because of its capacity to process high transaction volumes without compromising base-layer performance.
The following day, LitVM named VIA Labs as an official cross-chain launch partner. According to the announcement, VIA Labs will supply contract-to-contract messaging infrastructure and implement Circle's Bridged USDC Standard. LitVM said this integration will allow decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, and yield vaults deployed on the rollup to access native USDC across CCTP-connected networks from launch.
LitVM V2 Teaser and Ecosystem Programs
Towards the end of the week, LitVM announced that it is preparing to launch "V2," describing it as an expansion to connect Litecoin with additional networks and assets. The Litecoin Foundation also noted that version 2 is incoming, with more technical specifics expected next week.
Ecosystem initiatives on the LiteForge testnet also expanded. @circle_crypto announced plans to resurrect the Tesseract accelerator—originally launched on Polygon—to support teams building on LiteForge with advisory, marketing, and business development resources. Separately, LitVM partnered with Sweep.Haus on the LiteForge Cruise, a quest campaign offering $1,000 in rewards for testnet participants.
Four new projects were also listed in the ecosystem directory: decentralized exchange Balary, gaming project Lester's Arcade, analytics tool Litehouse Bot, and token launchpad Megalith.
Base Layer Security Fixes and Mining
On the Litecoin base layer, the Litecoin Foundation shared that developer David Burkett patched security vulnerabilities affecting MWEB. The foundation later reported that developers addressed several issues over summer 2026 identified via AI-assisted review and independent security researchers.
In mining news, the Litecoin Foundation highlighted the launch of LuxxPool, a Scrypt mining pool from Luxxfolio currently in beta that directs a portion of its proceeds back to the foundation.
