Week of Built from 5 filings
LitVM introduced its high-level strategy for the closing months of the year with the release of its Hard Money Web3 roadmap. The milestone coincided with Litecoin's 15th anniversary, which contributors framed around bringing EVM-compatible smart contracts to the network. Across the week, the team organized community spaces to discuss future plans, while five new applications were added to the ecosystem directory.
Hard Money Web3 Roadmap and Anniversary
On Tuesday, LitVM published its Hard Money Web3 roadmap, stating that the fourth quarter will feature a series of upcoming milestones with additional technical and operational details scheduled for release soon.
The roadmap release aligned with Litecoin's 15-year operational milestone. Highlighting the base layer's network history, LitVM stated that Litecoin had sustained 15 years of continuous operation without downtime and positioned smart contracts as the next major phase of expansion for the network. In tandem with the anniversary, ecosystem commentator @circle_crypto shared an update compiling activity, timeline posts, and community reactions from across the LitVM ecosystem.
Ecosystem Discussions and Community Events
In addition to the roadmap post, the project focused on partner and community coordination through social audio sessions. On Monday, LitVM announced an ecosystem Twitter Space scheduled for Thursday in collaboration with LesterLabsHQ, intended to bring together team members, ecosystem projects, and partners to review progress across Litecoin and the LitVM rollup.
On Wednesday, LitVM reiterated the event details, indicating that the session would feature general project updates, open discussion on network plans, and an appearance by a guest contributor.
