LitVM Backs MidasPredict as Testnet Hits 250M Transactions
LitVM invested in prediction market platform MidasPredict on LiteForge, while testnet data showed transaction counts crossing 250 million.
Week of Built from 9 filings
LitVM announced a strategic investment in prediction market platform MidasPredict this week, backing one of the first native applications building on the LiteForge testnet. Ecosystem trackers also highlighted network activity, noting that the LitVM testnet has processed more than 250 million transactions. Community calls and newly published onboarding materials rounded out the week's updates.
Native Prediction Markets on LiteForge
On Monday, LitVM announced a strategic partnership with and direct investment in MidasPredict (@MidasHandxyz). The team characterized MidasPredict as a permissionless prediction market platform building natively on the LiteForge testnet (chain ID 4441).
According to LitVM, the integration is intended to generate practical utility for zkLTC, the testnet's native gas token. By allowing users to deploy bridged Litecoin into trustless prediction contracts, the platform aims to provide an on-chain primitive for speculation, hedging, and price discovery within the rollup ecosystem.
Testnet Milestones and Base Layer Benchmarks
Network adoption figures were highlighted on Thursday by Jay File, who reported that LitVM has now surpassed 250 million total testnet transactions on LiteForge.
File also outlined several broader Litecoin network metrics alongside the LitVM milestone. According to his post, 8.625 million addresses currently hold a Litecoin balance, while 505,481 LTC is pegged into Mimblewimble Extension Blocks (MWEB), setting a record high for the privacy layer. The base chain has produced over 3 million blocks since its 2011 launch and retains commodity classification recognition from both the SEC and CFTC.
Community Spaces and Ecosystem Resources
LitVM hosted a collaborative ecosystem Space on Telegram on Thursday alongside @LesterLabsHQ, following a brief reminder ahead of the broadcast. The discussion brought together developers, partners, and community members to review ongoing technical progress across both Litecoin and LitVM.
Earlier in the week, LitVM published a 20-minute introductory guide designed to onboard new users to its framework. Community contributor @circle_crypto framed the rollup and Litecoin as continuations of cypherpunk technology, later announcing a giveaway winner for physical merchandise from the LitecoinHorizon shop. The LitVM team closed the week with short community posts reiterating its focus on Litecoin and core network alignment.
