LiteForge Passes 100 Apps as LitVM V2 Staffing Expands
LiteForge crossed 100 deployed applications this week while LitVM brought on an additional zero-knowledge developer to accelerate the V2 build.
Week of Built from 11 filings
LiteForge surpassed 100 deployed applications this week, marking a steady increase in testnet activity ahead of audit milestones. The project team also announced staffing additions to finish the LitVM V2 build and prepare for upcoming security reviews.
Testnet Growth and New Ecosystem Directory Additions
LitVM announced on Thursday that more than 100 applications are now live on LiteForge, inviting builders to submit their deployments to the official Testnet Hub for indexation. The Litecoin Foundation also acknowledged the project's ecosystem growth during the week.
Two new projects entered the ecosystem directory this week: decentralized exchange ORVEX and launchpad platform LitVMSwap Launch.
V2 Development and Core Infrastructure Strategy
Development on the network's next iteration progressed as team member @circle_crypto reported hiring an additional zero-knowledge developer. According to the post, the additional contributor aims to accelerate the completion of the LitVM V2 build and move the codebase into its formal audit phase sooner. Later in the week, @circle_crypto reiterated that active work on finishing the V2 build remains underway.
Community discussions also highlighted how rollup activity interfaces with Litecoin's underlying economics. Research account @LiteStrategy argued that LitVM creates independent structural demand by denominating execution fees in LTC at the protocol level, distinct from standard low-cost payment transfers and treasury accumulation.
In related messaging, LitVM noted that zero-knowledge cryptography allows Litecoin to support decentralized finance without requiring centralized custodians or modifying Litecoin's base Layer 1 properties.
